Subject: Follow-up to Community Survey for Lincoln-Lakeway Study
Good morning,
As you may recall, in May 2020, the City notified the general public with a citywide press release that we were conducting a community survey for the Lincoln-Lakeway Multimodal Transportation Study. I also emailed representatives of the following neighborhood associations requesting that the on-line survey link be passed along to their neighborhood email lists.
We had 558 survey responses in 3 weeks and the Community Survey Report is complete and posted on the web site.
For those of you who are interested, I’d like to arrange follow-up telephone calls with Neighborhood Association Presidents, appointed representatives to the Mayor’s Neighborhood Advisory Commission, and representatives of the Sudden Valley Community Association. While I would prefer to discuss this at one of your Neighborhood meetings (like we used to do), this is simply not possible at the present time. The telephone call would be an opportunity for you and I to discuss what you’re hearing from your neighborhood association members and residents regarding transportation issues, concerns, wants/desires, opinions, etc. in the study area. As elected Presidents or appointed MNAC representatives to your neighborhood, you’re probably more aware of neighborhood perspectives than most, and therefore an excellent source of information.
Please let me know if you are interested in discussing the survey and/or the study further and, if so, let me know a date and time that would be convenient for you to talk by telephone.
